CUSTOM FIXIE HUB
AN ELEGANT WHEELS EXCLUSIVE
Here is our custom fixie hub. I convert these myself, so they are not available anywhere else. JuJu is Sun Race's top of the line MTB components. This hub features sealed bearings, a hollow 10mm axle, and oversize stainless steel custom made spacers. I have included standard track nuts with rotating captured washers, just like all the current track hubs have.
The six bolt ISO attachment is super strong and super stiff. This gives a noticeable improvement in drivetrain unity. The standard hardware is all from Wheels Manufacturing, and the spacers are machined locally in San Jose. These hubs come in attractive presentation boxes, and make a great gift for the fixie fanatic. This hub builds up into a very stiff wheel, and is spaced at the standard 120mm OLD* (over locknut dimension, or frame width) and a 42mm chainline. The axle is extra long so custom OLD* and chainlines are easily accomplished. The bearings are standard size, and so are easily replaced when worn, or upgrade with fancy ceramic boutique bearings.
